St George Feast Day 2024 – Over the weekend of 11 and 12 May 2024 the Cathedral was blessed to have His Eminence, Metropolitan Basilios preside over the St George Feast Day Vespers with clergy from all Parishes, as well as the Divine Liturgy.

Photos from 2023

During 2023 the Cathedral celebrated the 100 (+3) year anniversary of the founding of St George Cathedral. A number of events were held to commemorate this milestone.

Gala Ball May 2023 – Under the patronage of His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios the Parish Council arrange a Centenary Ball at Le Montage on 5 May 2023. A night of reminiscing and dancing was enjoyed by all who attended.

Ladies High Tea – Under the patronage of His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios the committee of the St George Myrrh Bearing Women held a High Tea at the Queen Victoria Building Tea Rooms on 31 August 2023. The room was filled with ladies of the Parish enjoying a decadent high tea and fun activities.
